The second DeskEvent took place between 20 and 23 October in Warsaw. Two workshops were held at the European Commission office in the centre of Warsaw. The first one was dedicated to Project management and fundraising. The participants were then divided in groups and had to develop their own project (budget, sponsors, target group…).
The second day, the trainers visited two high schools (35th Bolesław Prus High school and Bednarska High school. After ashort presentation of the European Union, they presented the different opportunities offered by the European Commission forthe youth and ended with a quiz.
The last day was dedicated to the workshop on youth journalism and the new web technology. After a digital presentation the participants had the opportunity to put into practice and develop a new strategy to promote an event for their organisation.
