This part of the event is training on youth journalism. Local youth volunteers interested in European issues and media will learn how to effectively use the opportunities provided by different media to gather and disseminate information about Europe. The training will include interactive exercises on how to find information on official sources and relevant columns and editorials in media. Participants will also receive a short presentation on how to write articles or produce podcasts and video casts in an effective and fair way (copyright, reliability etc.). In addition some good practices of how to contact and reach the media attention through press releases and well-conceived actions will be presented. In the end participants will have to write an article on a European topic.
