The seminar was focused on the exchange of good practices about the way of delivering information on European issues.
The participants coming from the whole Europe had the opportunities to discuss with politicians, lobbyists, media directors, even a former vice-president of the European Parliament and with youth political parties as well. The idea was to provide young citizens with tools for having a better understanding on the aims and the functioning of the European Union, specially the European Parliament.
Finally a big part of the seminar was focused on exchanging views on « Europe at school » actions with the experiences of JEF France and Europäische Schülerbewegung (JEF-Austria).
Working groups were also organized to discuss European higher education, the current financial crisis and international policy. Instead of transmitting standard information to young citizens in a passive way, the seminar was aimed to create incentives to let young people actively gather information about the European Union, to debate about it and to share it in an all-European network.
